Diese Nutzungsbedingungen gelten für die App „BC Pill“ (im App Store „BC Pillen Erinnerung“, bei Google Play „BC Pille: Pillen Erinnerung“) für iPhone, iPad und Android von Sebastian Lang, Langfeldstraße 11B, 91077 Neunkirchen am Brand, Deutschland („wir“). Mit der Nutzung der App erklärst du dich mit diesen Bedingungen einverstanden. Wenn du sie nicht akzeptierst, nutze die App bitte nicht.
1. Was BC Pill ist
BC Pill erinnert dich an die Einnahme deiner Antibabypille und hilft dir, den Überblick zu behalten: über eingenommene und vergessene Pillen, deine Pillenpause, deinen Blister und dein Tagebuch. Dazu gibt es ein Forum, in dem du dich mit anderen austauschen kannst.
BC Pill ist ein Erinnerungs- und Übersichtswerkzeug. Die App ist kein Medizinprodukt und kein Verhütungsmittel. Sie stellt keine Diagnosen und behandelt, heilt oder verhindert keine Krankheiten.
2. Kein Ersatz für ärztlichen Rat
BC Pill ersetzt nicht die Beratung durch deine Ärztin, deinen Arzt oder deine Apotheke. Entscheidungen zu deiner Verhütung, zu vergessenen Pillen, zur Pillenpause, zu zusätzlicher Verhütung, zur „Pille danach“ oder zu einem Schwangerschaftstest triff bitte immer mit fachlichem Rat.
Was die App anzeigt – etwa den Schutzstatus oder die Hinweise zu vergessenen Pillen –, beruht auf deinen Eingaben und auf allgemeinen Regeln. Deine persönliche Situation und die Besonderheiten deines Präparats kann die App nicht kennen. Maßgeblich ist immer der Beipackzettel deiner Pille.
Erinnerungen sind Mitteilungen deines Geräts. Sie können ausbleiben, etwa wenn Mitteilungen ausgeschaltet sind, ein Fokus-Modus oder „Bitte nicht stören“ aktiv ist, das Gerät aus ist, eine Energiesparfunktion die App einschränkt oder das Betriebssystem die Mitteilung nicht zustellt. Verlasse dich deshalb nicht allein auf die App.
3. Nutzungsrecht
Du erhältst ein einfaches, nicht übertragbares Recht, BC Pill für private Zwecke auf deinen eigenen Geräten zu nutzen. Ergänzend gelten die Bedingungen des App Store (Apple Standard-EULA) bzw. von Google Play. Du darfst die App nicht weitergeben, vermieten, verändern, dekompilieren oder ihren Quellcode rekonstruieren, soweit zwingendes Recht dies nicht ausdrücklich erlaubt. Urheber- und Markenhinweise darfst du nicht entfernen.
4. Deine Daten
Deine Pillen-, Zyklus- und Tagebuchdaten speichert BC Pill auf deinem Gerät. Für das Forum, für Werbung in der kostenlosen Version, für Abonnements, Absturzberichte und Nutzungsstatistiken werden Daten an Dienstleister übermittelt. Alle Einzelheiten findest du in der Datenschutzerklärung.
5. Das Forum
5.1 Konto
Für das Forum brauchst du ein Konto. Du meldest dich auf dem iPhone mit Apple, Google, Facebook oder E-Mail-Adresse und Passwort an, auf Android mit Google, Facebook oder E-Mail-Adresse und Passwort, und wählst einen Spitznamen. Das Forum darfst du erst ab 16 Jahren nutzen. Halte deine Zugangsdaten geheim und lege nur ein Konto an.
5.2 Regeln
Das Forum lebt von einem respektvollen Umgang. Nicht erlaubt sind insbesondere:
- rechtswidrige Inhalte, Beleidigungen, Bedrohungen, Hass und Belästigung;
- pornografische oder gewaltverherrlichende Inhalte;
- Werbung, Spam und Links zu kommerziellen Angeboten;
- persönliche Daten anderer Menschen, etwa Namen, Fotos oder Kontaktdaten;
- Inhalte, an denen du keine Rechte hast, etwa fremde Bilder oder Texte;
- gefährliche Ratschläge, etwa zum Absetzen oder Ersetzen von Medikamenten, und Heilversprechen;
- das Sammeln von Sternen durch inhaltsleere oder wiederholte Beiträge.
5.3 Was du teilst, sehen andere
Beiträge, Kommentare, Bilder und Umfragen sind mit deinem Spitznamen und Profilbild für alle Nutzerinnen des Forums deiner Sprache sichtbar und über die Forensuche auffindbar. Überlege dir gut, welche Angaben zu deiner Gesundheit oder deinem Privatleben du veröffentlichst. Teile nichts, woran man dich gegen deinen Willen erkennen könnte.
5.4 Rechte an deinen Inhalten
Deine Inhalte gehören dir. Du räumst uns das einfache, unentgeltliche Recht ein, sie im Forum zu speichern, anzuzeigen, für die Suche zu verarbeiten und technisch anzupassen (etwa Bilder zu verkleinern), solange sie im Forum stehen.
5.5 Melden und Moderation
Inhalte, die gegen diese Regeln verstoßen, kannst du in der App melden. Wir prüfen gemeldete Inhalte und dürfen Inhalte entfernen sowie Konten vorübergehend oder dauerhaft sperren, wenn gegen diese Bedingungen oder geltendes Recht verstoßen wird. Einen Anspruch auf Veröffentlichung gibt es nicht. Wenn wir einen deiner Inhalte entfernen oder dein Konto sperren, nennen wir dir auf Nachfrage den Grund; du kannst der Entscheidung per E-Mail widersprechen.
5.6 Sterne
Für Aktivität im Forum sammelst du Sterne und kannst sie in der App gegen Premium-Zeit eintauschen. Sterne haben keinen Geldwert, sind nicht übertragbar und verfallen, wenn du dein Konto löschst oder es wegen eines Verstoßes gesperrt wird. Wir können das Sternesystem ändern oder beenden; bereits eingelöste Premium-Zeit bleibt erhalten.
5.7 Konto löschen
Dein Konto löschst du in der App unter Forum → Profil → „Account löschen“ oder über dieses Formular. Mit dem Konto werden automatisch deine Anmeldung, dein Profil und dein Profilbild gelöscht, außerdem alle deine Beiträge mit ihren Bildern und Kommentaren sowie deine Kommentare unter anderen Beiträgen. Das lässt sich nicht rückgängig machen; deine Sterne verfallen (siehe 5.6).
6. Premium und Abonnements
Premium gibt es als sich automatisch verlängerndes Monats- oder Jahresabo. Den Preis in deiner Währung zeigen dir App Store bzw. Google Play vor dem Kauf. Die Zahlung wird bei Bestätigung des Kaufs über deinen Apple-Account bzw. dein Google-Konto abgerechnet. Das Abo verlängert sich um denselben Zeitraum zum dann geltenden Preis, wenn du es nicht mindestens 24 Stunden vor Ende des laufenden Zeitraums kündigst. Kündigen und verwalten kannst du es jederzeit in den Einstellungen deines Apple-Accounts bzw. unter „Abos“ in Google Play.
Kauf, Abrechnung und Erstattungen laufen über Apple bzw. Google und richten sich nach deren Bedingungen. Den Umfang von Premium beschreibt die App; wir können ihn weiterentwickeln, ohne wesentliche Funktionen während eines bezahlten Zeitraums zu entziehen.
7. Werbung
Die kostenlose Version zeigt Werbung von Google AdMob. Ob die Werbung auf dich zugeschnitten sein darf, entscheidest du über die Einwilligungsabfrage in der App. Mit Premium siehst du keine Werbung.
8. Verfügbarkeit und Änderungen der App
Wir entwickeln BC Pill laufend weiter und können Funktionen ändern, ergänzen oder einstellen. Das Forum und andere Online-Funktionen bieten wir ohne Zusage einer bestimmten Verfügbarkeit an; Wartung, Störungen bei Dienstleistern oder höhere Gewalt können sie zeitweise einschränken.
9. Haftung
Wir haften unbeschränkt bei Vorsatz und grober Fahrlässigkeit, bei der Verletzung von Leben, Körper oder Gesundheit, nach dem Produkthaftungsgesetz und im Umfang einer übernommenen Garantie. Bei leichter Fahrlässigkeit haften wir nur für die Verletzung einer Pflicht, deren Erfüllung die ordnungsgemäße Nutzung der App erst ermöglicht und auf deren Einhaltung du regelmäßig vertrauen darfst, und dann begrenzt auf den vorhersehbaren, typischerweise eintretenden Schaden. Im Übrigen ist die Haftung ausgeschlossen.
Für Inhalte, die andere Nutzerinnen im Forum veröffentlichen, sind diese selbst verantwortlich.
10. Beendigung
Du kannst die Nutzung jederzeit beenden, indem du die App löschst und gegebenenfalls dein Forum-Konto löschst. Ein laufendes Abo kündigst du gesondert bei Apple bzw. in Google Play. Verstößt du gegen diese Bedingungen, können wir deinen Zugang zum Forum sperren.
11. Änderungen dieser Bedingungen
Wir können diese Bedingungen anpassen, etwa wenn sich die App, die Rechtslage oder unsere Dienstleister ändern. Wesentliche Änderungen kündigen wir in der App oder auf dieser Seite rechtzeitig an. Nutzt du die App nach Inkrafttreten weiter, gelten die neuen Bedingungen.
12. Anwendbares Recht
Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland unter Ausschluss des UN-Kaufrechts. Zwingende Verbraucherschutzvorschriften des Landes, in dem du deinen gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt hast, bleiben unberührt. Wir sind nicht bereit und nicht verpflichtet, an Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle teilzunehmen.

By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
1. What BC Pill is
BC Pill reminds you to take your birth control pill and helps you keep track of pills taken and missed, your pill break, your pack and your diary. It also includes a forum where you can talk to others.
BC Pill is a reminder and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and not a contraceptive. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
2. No substitute for medical advice
BC Pill does not replace advice from your doctor or pharmacist. Always make decisions about your contraception, missed pills, your pill break, additional contraception, emergency contraception or a pregnancy test with professional advice.
What the app shows – such as the protection status or the guidance on missed pills – is based on your entries and on general rules. The app cannot know your personal situation or the specifics of your pill. The leaflet of your pill always takes precedence.
Reminders are notifications on your device. They may not arrive, for example if notifications are turned off, a Focus mode or Do Not Disturb is on, the device is switched off, battery saving restricts the app or the operating system does not deliver the notification. Do not rely on the app alone.
3. Licence
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use BC Pill for private purposes on your own devices. The App Store terms (Apple’s standard EULA) or the Google Play terms apply in addition. You may not pass on, rent, modify or decompile the app or reconstruct its source code unless mandatory law expressly allows it. You may not remove copyright or trademark notices.
4. Your data
BC Pill stores your pill, cycle and diary data on your device. For the forum, advertising in the free version, subscriptions, crash reports and usage statistics, data is transmitted to service providers. You will find all details in the privacy policy.
5. The forum
5.1 Account
You need an account for the forum. You sign in on iPhone with Apple, Google, Facebook or an email address and password, on Android with Google, Facebook or an email address and password, and choose a nickname. You must be at least 16 years old to use the forum. Keep your login details secret and create only one account.
5.2 Rules
The forum depends on respectful behaviour. In particular, the following are not allowed:
- illegal content, insults, threats, hate and harassment;
- pornographic content or content glorifying violence;
- advertising, spam and links to commercial offers;
- personal data of other people, such as names, photos or contact details;
- content you do not hold the rights to, such as other people’s images or texts;
- dangerous advice, for example about stopping or replacing medication, and promises of cures;
- collecting stars through empty or repeated posts.
5.3 What you share, others can see
Posts, comments, images and polls are visible with your nickname and profile picture to all users of the forum in your language and can be found through the forum search. Think carefully about what you publish about your health or private life. Do not share anything that could identify you against your will.
5.4 Rights to your content
Your content belongs to you. You grant us the non-exclusive, free right to store it in the forum, display it, process it for search and adapt it technically (for example, resize images) for as long as it is in the forum.
5.5 Reporting and moderation
You can report content that breaks these rules in the app. We review reported content and may remove content and suspend accounts temporarily or permanently if these terms or applicable law are violated. There is no right to have content published. If we remove your content or suspend your account, we will tell you the reason on request; you can object to the decision by email.
5.6 Stars
You collect stars for activity in the forum and can exchange them for Premium time in the app. Stars have no cash value, cannot be transferred and expire if you delete your account or if it is suspended for a violation. We may change or end the star programme; Premium time already redeemed remains.
5.7 Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app under Forum → Profile → “Delete account” or using this form. Deleting the account automatically deletes your sign-in, your profile and your profile picture, as well as all your posts with their images and comments and your comments on other posts. This cannot be undone; your stars expire (see 5.6).
6. Premium and subscriptions
Premium is available as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. The App Store or Google Play shows the price in your currency before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews for the same period at the then current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings or under “Subscriptions” in Google Play.
Purchase, billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms. The app describes what Premium includes; we may develop it further without removing essential features during a paid period.
7. Advertising
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. You decide through the consent prompt in the app whether ads may be personalised. Premium users see no ads.
8. Availability and changes to the app
We continuously develop BC Pill and may change, add or discontinue features. We provide the forum and other online features without any guarantee of availability; maintenance, problems at service providers or force majeure may limit them temporarily.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and within the scope of any guarantee given. In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of obligations whose fulfilment is essential for the proper use of the app and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely, and then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise, liability is excluded.
Users who publish content in the forum are responsible for it themselves.
10. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it and, if applicable, your forum account. You cancel a running subscription separately with Apple or in Google Play. If you violate these terms, we may suspend your access to the forum.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the app, the law or our service providers change. We will announce material changes in the app or on this page in good time. If you continue to use the app after they take effect, the new terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
