2. Geltungsbereich
Diese Datenschutzerklärung gilt für die App Baby Sounds (Einschlafhilfe) für iPhone und iPad, die über den App Store vertrieben wird. Für die Webseite langsoftware.de gilt die dort veröffentlichte Datenschutzerklärung.
3. Grundprinzip: Kein Konto, keine persönlichen Eingaben, keine Aufnahmen
Baby Sounds spielt beruhigende Geräusche ab. Die App benötigt kein Konto und fragt keine persönlichen Daten ab. Es werden keine Audioaufnahmen gemacht; die App nutzt kein Mikrofon.
Deine Einstellungen werden ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Um die App zu verbessern und Fehler zu beheben, werden lediglich anonyme Nutzungsereignisse und Absturzberichte über Google Firebase erfasst. Siehe dazu Abschnitte 4.2 und 4.3.
4. Personenbezogene Daten, die in der App verarbeitet werden
4.1 Lokal gespeicherte Daten (kein Serverkontakt)
Auf dem Gerät gespeichert werden: die gewählte Timer-Dauer, die Lautstärke und die zuletzt gespielten Geräusche. Diese Einstellungen verlassen dein Gerät nicht.
Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Erfüllung des Nutzungsvertrags).
4.2 Firebase Analytics (Nutzungsstatistik)
Zur Verbesserung der App werden anonyme Nutzungsereignisse erfasst: welches Geräusch gestartet wurde, welche Timer-Dauer eingestellt war und warum die Wiedergabe endete (von dir gestoppt, Timer abgelaufen oder durch einen Anruf unterbrochen). Dazu kommen eine zufällige App-Instanz-ID, das Gerätemodell, die iOS-Version, die App-Version und die ungefähre Region.
Es findet kein Tracking über Apps und Webseiten anderer Anbieter statt; die App zeigt deshalb auch keine Abfrage zur App-Tracking-Transparenz. Es werden keine Werbekennungen genutzt, und die Daten werden nicht mit deiner Identität oder anderen Daten über dich verknüpft.

Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO – berechtigtes Interesse an der Verbesserung der App.
Speicherdauer: nach den Standard-Aufbewahrungsfristen von Google für Firebase Analytics.
4.3 Firebase Crashlytics (Absturzberichte)
Stürzt die App ab, wird ein Fehlerbericht übermittelt: zufällige Installations-ID, Gerätemodell, iOS-Version, App-Version, Stapelüberwachung (Stack Trace) und technische Protokollzeilen zum Ablauf, etwa welches Geräusch gestartet oder gestoppt wurde. Personenbezogene Angaben über dich enthält der Bericht nicht.

Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO – berechtigtes Interesse an einer stabilen App.
Speicherdauer: in der Regel 90 Tage.
4.4 Kauf über den App Store (Apple)
Baby Sounds ist eine kostenpflichtige App ohne Abonnement und ohne In-App-Käufe. Kauf und Abrechnung wickelt ausschließlich Apple über den App Store ab; dafür gilt die Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple. Deine Zahlungsdaten erhalten wir zu keinem Zeitpunkt – sie liegen ausschließlich bei Apple.

5. Berechtigungen der App
Baby Sounds fragt keine Berechtigungen ab – insbesondere keinen Zugriff auf Mikrofon, Kamera, Fotos, Kontakte oder Standort und keine Erlaubnis zum Tracking. Damit die Geräusche bei gesperrtem Bildschirm weiterlaufen, nutzt die App die Hintergrund-Audiowiedergabe von iOS; dafür ist keine Freigabe durch dich nötig.
6. Drittlandsübermittlungen – Zusammenfassung
Die eingesetzten Anbieter können Daten in den USA verarbeiten. Grundlage ist der EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, nach dem Google zertifiziert ist. Details: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

7. Speicherdauer und Löschung
- Lokale Einstellungen (Timer-Dauer, Lautstärke, zuletzt gespielte Geräusche): werden entfernt, wenn du die App löschst.
- Nutzungsereignisse (Firebase Analytics): werden nach den Standard-Aufbewahrungsfristen von Google gelöscht.
- Absturzberichte (Firebase Crashlytics): werden in der Regel nach 90 Tagen gelöscht.

10. Kinder
Die App richtet sich an Eltern, die ihrem Baby beim Einschlafen helfen möchten. Es werden keine Daten von Kindern erhoben.

2. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the Baby Sounds app (sleep aid) for iPhone and iPad, distributed through the App Store. The website langsoftware.de is covered by the privacy policy published there.
3. Core principle: no account, no personal input, no recordings
Baby Sounds plays soothing sounds. The app needs no account and asks for no personal data. It does not record audio and does not use the microphone.
Your settings are stored exclusively on your device. To improve the app and fix errors, only anonymous usage events and crash reports are collected via Google Firebase. See sections 4.2 and 4.3.
4. Personal data processed by the app
4.1 Data stored locally (no server contact)
Stored on the device: the selected timer duration, the volume and the most recently played sounds. These settings never leave your device.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the user agreement).
4.2 Firebase Analytics (usage statistics)
To improve the app, anonymous usage events are collected: which sound was started, which timer duration was set and why playback ended (stopped by you, timer expired or interrupted by a phone call). In addition, a random app instance ID, the device model, the iOS version, the app version and the approximate region are recorded.
There is no tracking across other companies‘ apps and websites; the app therefore shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt. No advertising identifiers are used, and the data is not linked to your identity or to other data about you.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in improving the app.
Retention: according to Google’s standard retention periods for Firebase Analytics.
4.3 Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports)
If the app crashes, a report is sent: random installation ID, device model, iOS version, app version, stack trace and technical log lines about the sequence of events, such as which sound was started or stopped. The report contains no personal details about you.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in a stable app.
Retention: typically 90 days.
4.4 Purchase through the App Store (Apple)
Baby Sounds is a paid app with no subscription and no in-app purchases. Purchase and billing are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store; Apple’s privacy policy applies. We never receive your payment details – they remain with Apple.

5. App permissions
Baby Sounds requests no permissions – in particular no access to the microphone, camera, photos, contacts or location, and no permission to track. To keep playing while the screen is locked, the app uses iOS background audio playback; this does not require your approval.

7. Retention and deletion
- Local settings (timer duration, volume, most recently played sounds): removed when you delete the app.
- Usage events (Firebase Analytics): deleted according to Google’s standard retention periods.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): generally deleted after 90 days.
